Ordering, Delivery, Returns Policy
Ordering:
Most items are made-to-order (unless stated otherwise). Items that are made-to-order will be completed and ready to ship 2-4 weeks after the order is placed. If your order includes a ready-to-wear item and a made-to-order item both items will be sent together once the made-to-order item has been completed.
If you have concerns over the measurements of an item we may be able to offer some alteration to the design so that the garment fits you as intended. For further information please send us an email. Please note any altered or customised items cannot be returned or exchanged.
Discounts and Offers:
If an item(s) becomes discounted or goes into sale/on offer after you have placed your order we are unable to retroactively apply any of these future discounts, sales and offers onto your order, even if your order has not yet been dispatched and still remains 'open'.
Delivery:
We post worldwide!
UK - All orders will be sent out via Royal Mail second class signed for delivery. We will message you once your order has been shipped and provide you with your tracking number. We do offer a 24hr tracking option if you wish for that service. Please note the made-to-order lead time will remain the same at 2-4weeks, the postal service will be 24hrs from the date the item is completed and posted.
Europe & Worldwide - All orders will be sent out via Royal Mail International Shipping. We will message you once your order has been shipped and provide you with your tracking number. Due to Brexit all European orders placed may be subject to extra fees upon destination arrival (customs, handling etc), these will be fees placed outside of our shipping costs and may vary depending on destination. We will not pre-pay any of these fees, nor will they be included in your order when being placed, and therefore are not responsible for any extra charges. Please take this into consideration before purchasing. These terms also apply to International orders outside of Europe.
(This does include the channel islands (including Jersey, Guernsey, Alderney, Herm and Sark. Please note: gifts and goods sent to Jersey may be liable for GST (Goods and Service Tax), currently 5%).
USA - In light of the tariff regulations that came into play at the end of August 2025 US customers will be asked to pay any tariff fees upfront when they place their order - as a small business we are unable to front these costs. The same as for our European customers, all US orders will be sent out via Royal Mail International Shipping, unless they are over a certain value. Parcels over the value of £400 will be subject to a higher postage fee, which will be calculated at checkout, this is to ensure we provide sufficient insurance coverage for your order. Parcels over the value of £400 are usually posted with Fedex. We will notify you once your order has been shipped and provide you with your tracking number. Please note parcels may be subject to duties fees and taxes upon arrival in the USA, these are the responsibility of the buyer to pay as we are unable to take the costs.
All postage is calculated in your checkout basket.
Please note once an item is posted it is not the responsibility of Tapuh for any damage or loss caused during transit.
Returns:
We have a 14 day returns policy which runs from the moment you receive your item. If you would like to return an item(s) please message us within this 7 day period to notify us. You will have a further 7 days from contacting us to dispatch the item back and notify us.
All item(s) returned must be in the exact condition received. Item(s) must not have been washed, worn and must be odorless and free of any pet hair - there’s enough textile waste in the world and we don’t want to waste our garments!
If returns meet all the criteria you will be refunded once returns have been received and inspected. Buyer’s are responsible for return postage costs. If the return does not meet the criteria we will email you and a partial refund will be made. Please note buyer's will not be refunded the postage costs incurred to post the order out initially. Refunds will be made to the original payment method only, we will not refund to any other payment methods. If the buyer would prefer their refund goes onto a gift voucher to spend at 'www.tapuhclothing.co.uk' we will email over a gift voucher once we have received and inspected the returned item(s). Gift vouchers will be valid for 12 months, starting from the day the returned item(s) is/are received, and are only valid to spend online. Gift vouchers will not be valid to spend at any pop-up, third party stockists, or markets Tapuh may be attending within the 12 month spending period, unless agreed otherwise through email between Tapuh and the buyer.
We do not accept international returns or returns on customised garments. Please take this into consideration before purchasing.
Exchanges:
We all change our mind from time to time and that’s totally fine! Please send over an email, whether it be requiring a different size or colour we will try our best to help you. A lot of our stock is very limited, so if we still have stock or just need to quickly run something up for you we will try to accommodate. Similar to our returns policy you will have 7 days to contact us and a further 7 days from contact to send us back the unwanted item. Please place a note in with your parcel with your name, order number and the new size/colour you would like to have made - this helps to simplify the process on our end. Once we receive the item we will make the exchange piece and post it out to you. Please be aware if we do have to make a new item for you there will be a 2-4 week lead time from receiving the return piece to us posting out the new piece. We ask customers to post their return piece back tracked to ensure it is traceable if there are any delays (Royal Mail 48hr Tracked is preferable).
Buyers are responsible for return postage costs as well as the postage cost to send out the exchange, we will invoice the postage costs through Paypal or via invoice once your exchange is ready to send out. All items returned must be in the exact condition received. Items must not have been washed, worn, and must be odourless and free of any pet hair - there’s enough textile waste in the world and we don’t want to waste our garments!
We do not accept international exchanges or exchanges on customised garments. Please take this into consideration before purchasing.
Face masks are unfortunately not a part of our returns policy and cannot be returned or exchanged once purchased. Please consider this before making your purchase.

Cancellations:
If you no longer wish to make a purchase please don’t worry! Buyers have 24 hours from purchase to cancel their order. Please contact us to cancel your order and receive a full refund at: tapuhclothing@gmail.com
Customisations/Alterations:
We are happy to accommodate a limited selection of alterations to your order before we cut it out. We currently offer these alterations free of charge on pieces and orders which have not yet been cut or made, we just ask you to leave us a note in your order or email us straight after your order with the suggested alterations you would like to be made to your piece(s). Once we have agreed on the alterations to be made you can sit back whilst we get to making your order.

Please note customised pieces and pieces that have been altered from our standard designs are non-returnable and non-refundable, as they have been made bespoke to you! Please consider this before requesting an alteration.
Pieces that have already been cut, made and/or posted out are not eligible for customisations/alterations on the house. If there is a change you would like us to make once you have tried a piece on please email us at tapuhclothing@gmail.com and we can discuss your options and additional costs for the alteration.
